THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is God's holy, inspired word to the world that He created. the Bible's primary purpose is to bring God's love and powerful presence so that lives might be transformed.
GOD
We believe God is a personal being who has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
One God, three persons.
FATHER
We believe God the Father is the creator and sustainer of the heavens and the earth.
JESUS
We believe Jesus is God fulfilling His plan to conquer our separation from Him. He is true God and true man, our Savior, who paid the full price for all our sin before God by dying on the cross and rising victoriously from the dead.
HOLY SPIRIT
God's Spirit generates faith in our lives, gathers us together as the Church, showers us with His gifts, and through the Word, Baptism and Holy Communion empowers believers to live lives marked by Christ's love.
SALVATION
We believe people are rescued from sin through faith in Jesus Christ. This faith comes only from the Holy Spirit as A free gift, worked through the words of the Bible, Baptism and Holy Communion.
SACRAMENTS
Baptism and Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper) are God's activities, combining common elements with the power of His Word to work faith in the lives of those who He claims as his children.
THE CHURCH
We believe that the Church was created by God to be His visible presence in the world. Though made up of imperfect believers, God accomplishes His perfect work through those He has claimed and empowered with the gift of His Spirit and of faith.
